The Famous Slutty Brownie Recipe

Have you heard of the famous slutty brownies?

Look at what I am bringing to small group tonight! Yes, I just made the most heavenly brownies and they are called “Slutty Brownies.” I wanted to change the name but apparently these gooey brownies are quite well-known. In fact, some recipes, I googled had you make your own cookie dough. Yum!

So, I am ignoring the name and enjoying this sinful treat. I guess it is appropriate to bring these “Slutty Brownies,” since eating these brownies feels like a sin.  They are simple to make and very delicious! You don’t even want to know how many calories are in a single brownie. Trust me I added it up in my fitness pal.  Just treat yourself and enjoy!

A customer of my stylist gave her one of these and it looked and sounded good, but I’m like you didn’t like the name. I’m making them for the first time today (thanks for having them on your blog, otherwise I may not have found the easy recipe), but I’m renaming them Ohh La La Brownies! :)

      • My cousins call them “Santa Suicides” around their middle schoolers. Not exactly PG, but not quite so bad :)

  8. Oh yum! These look fabulous, Julie! Can you please send one to me? ;) Thanks for sharing on Marvelous Mondays! :)

  19. My hips do not thank you for this post, even the photos looked dangerously full of calories. ;) It does look delicious. I’m visiting today from Harvest of Friends.

    • Thanks for stopping by Rosey! Yes, I think I gained a few pounds the other week. They are dangerous, but SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. Hey Julie, just stopping by from the HOF Weekend Blog Hop. Oh my heavens, I about died when I read the name of the recipe. And then almost spit out my coffee {I’m at Starbucks} when I read that you took them to small group!! :-D What better place to take some slutty brownies than to church to meet Jesus! Ok, I am still cracking up. You made my day! Sta blessed, girl!

    • Ha! Thank you for the mental picuture. I did feel a little guilty bringing them to small group. The lady hosting suggested calling them “Dirty Brownies.” LOL! Thanks for stopping by! I am headed your way shortly!

What size pan did you use? And I’m assuming the eggs and oil are for the brownies?

    • Yes, eggs and oil are for the brownies. I just bought regular traditional brownies. I used a 9×11 pan. Good luck! They are dangerous!

  22. Rosie, but it doesn’t seem as though she intended to do so. She definitely did suggest that she found several recipes online, she may not have known it was yours. btw I’m an avid reader of your blog, I came here from your twitter link. While on the topic, did you know Joan Rivers had slutty brownies on Fashion Police last year and didn’t credit you – I had a problem with that haha!

    • Thank you for letting me know she was tweeting about me stealing her recipe and explaining that I had googled the recipe. Thank you!

  23. These were originally posted here: not where you were accused of poaching them from.

I’m not sure much can be said about credit in this case!

    • Thank you for posting this. I found a million recipes when I was sharing the slutty brownie recipe. It would be hard to credit just one :) Your recipe picture looks awesome btw!

  24. The great thing about food, like language, is that it is a living, breathing thing. It’s always evolving and changing. How many recipes are out there for ANY dish? No one can claim the invention of any particular recipe, really. Have a blessed day, girl! Now off to linkup for Monday Mom Mingle!

    • Thank you Carrie! That really made my day! I was really rattled by being accused of stealing from another blogger. I am a very honest person, and would never take anything that wasn’t mine. However, your kind words, put a smile on my face! Thank you!!!!!!

do brownies really need to be more fattening than they already were?-yes….Americaaaa fu***** yeaaa

  26. I made a tray of these for my sister in law the other day and she was elated at how heavenly they are. However!, My sister and I made a batch using Mounds bars instead of oreos. Soooo good. If you like coconut. You can substitute the oreos for almost any candy bar you want. Try it. You’ll love it!!!

  27. Love these. I had to use two of the smaller rolls of cookie dough, but one of the larger rolls of cookie should be enough.

  28. Made these for my boyfriend’s family, they loved them. Didn’t make them with double stuff though…might have to try!!!!

    • I have heard you can make them with Almond Joys. How sinful would that be? Haven’t tried it but just might. Glad you won your boyfriends family over ;)

  29. The name I shall bestow on these (for mixed company {read: children present}), will be Gluttony Brownies. In case others are seeking a more favorable euphemism! Thanks for the recipe!

  30. I do this same thing with peanut butter cups in the middle! Sooooooooo good~!
